Crawl – is a style of swimming on a stomach when a person makes movements with the help of both arms and legs. It is the fastest style of swimming. It is also called freestyle.

Butterfly – is a style of swimming on a stomach when the left and the right sides of the body make symmetrical movements. When a person swims in this style the body of a swimmer rises above the water. It is the most complicated style of swimming that requires a lot of energy. Amateur is not even able to repeat movements in this style.

Breast-stroke – is a swimming style on the stomach when hands go strait simultaneously. It is the slowest swimming style but is the most complicated from the technical point of view. This swimming style is the most quiet.

Swimming is very good for the health. There are a lot of procedures in the swimming pool that are prescribed by doctors in the process of treatment of ill people. Swimming is the best for those who suffered from the diseases that made them constantly stay in the bed. It helps to activate all muscles.

While swimming it is necessary to hold breathing so that water couldn't get into respiratory organs.
